Now I have to go remind myself what the questions were. 

OKAY.

1. The first character I first fell in love with
Marty Deeks! (OMG WHAT A SURPRISE Y’ALL) I tried to watch this show when it first started, but I couldn’t get into it in the beginning. Then a friend pestered me until I gave it a shot in season two, and the first full episode I saw was 2x07, Anonymous, which I love for many reasons, mainly Deeks’ soliloquy on all the upgrades Kiki needs, hehe. And he looks damn fine all dressed up in the end of the episode. ;)

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Our good Russian buddy ARKADY, lol. First time we saw him, I was just like, eh, don’t really care, not important. But then he kept showing up. And he’s hilarious and I like his pool. And the scene where he’s kicking this other bad guy around and yelling at him in Russian in Neighborhood Watch is just gold, lol.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t
This is tough because I don’t know that there are many universally liked characters that I just dislike. I would probably have to go either Sam or Hetty on this one - I like Sam, but felt there might have been too much focus on him this past season and I just…I was bored with him. And Hetty…well, I just don’t really have any vested interest in her. *shrug* 

4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Does “everyone else” actually hate anyone on this show?? The only one that I can think of is one that I also hate, so…yeah. I don’t really have an answer for this one. 

5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer
Eric Beale. I’m so disappointed in what has happened to his character - he used to be fun, and I really dislike how everything he says or does now has somehow become tied to Nell. I don’t buy the lovesick puppy thing, not from him, and seeing him stuck on her the way it’s been written makes me want to throw things.

7. The character I’d want to be like
Kensi. Because she’s hot, badass, and deadly. And who doesn’t want to live on a diet of doughnuts and Twinkies and still look like that?! Heh. Oh, and she gets Deeks. ;)

8. The character I’d slap
Nell Jones. I’d go into the reasons why, but I would literally never stop. But mainly because I just cannot stand the way everything she says and does seems to come across as “I’m smarter/better than all y’all.” It’s rather condescending. I also wish someone would buy her a new wardrobe. 

9. A pairing that I love
Kensi and Deeks, from the moment I first saw them on screen in Anonymous, and in going back to Hand to Hand and Fame. They’re gorgeous together, utterly gorgeous, but there’s so much more underneath that that both Daniela and Eric bring to their characters. And I just adore that their relationship is based so heavily upon a foundation of trust, without which their thing would cease to exist. 

10. A pairing that I despise
I cannot stand Eric/Nell. I actually thought they were sweet at one point, and the scene in Kill House near the end is nice. But like I said above, I just can’t handle the way Nell acts, which is 99.9% why I dislike this ship. 

*blushy* Thank you. :) I’ve been feeling really down about my writing lately, almost to the point of wanting to stop. Or at least, not bothering to post it on tumblr anymore - I feel like I mostly annoy people, lol. I didn’t know many people around here read me (I think most people don’t know who I am on ffnet - or anywhere else, for that matter - someone on Twitter followed me for a year AND talked about writing Kensi/Deeks with me and didn’t realize who I was, haha) and skip past me assuming I suck - which I’m not sure isn’t true, because I try very hard not to read myself, haha. :P ) 

ANYWAY. Like I said, thank you. These rare messages make me smile. :)
